Drewsif Stalin victim of plagiarism
Drewsif Stalin reports that his tracks "Agile", "Solitude", "An Insomniac's Narrative", "Desolate", and "Mirage" have been uploaded under different names to the Myspace page of a band called Signs. They claim to have written and recorded the music themselves in a blog post on that page, whereas all they have done is add vocals to Drewsif's tracks.
According to Drewsif on Facebook, one of the band members declared to him upon being confronted that the songs serve only as a "vechicle for bands to discover his vocals", implying that they do not claim ownership over the music, which they clearly do in the blog post. The full post can be read below, in case the Myspace page is taken down.
Drewsif Stalin has also stated his intent to have the tracks removed immediately.
UPDATE: the Myspace page has since been removed.
"whats up kiddos? as you can see, we have finished our first ep entitled 'Realm'. this was a long and tedious process that involved countless hours of recording, mixing, and mastering. this wasnt done at some fancy studio, it was done in bedrooms and closets, by two band dudes. it shows that you can put something out that sounds good without having to waste your time and money in some overpriced studio. now that this is complete, we can finally start looking for members to fill in the blanks, so we can get to playing shows and giving kids at shows something just a little bit different to listen to for once. we are currently looking for a drummer and two guitarists. if you feel that you can play these songs, and are down to do it for real, just hit us up, and tell us what you have to bring to the table such as your gear, your availability, and your drive to do something with music. take it easy guys, and enjoy 'Realm'!"

The myspace page no longer exists... for great justice!
whats funny to me is that i wrote a riff similar to a riff andrew plays in one of his youtube videos months ago. Maybe you just write music similar to others thoughts?? jk sorry you had to deal with that bullshit. musicians worst nightmare.
I would like to read their butthurt reply to him as well
I also "liked" this post so it gets more attention, not because I like the fact that Drew has been plagiarised.
good call.
I upvoted this post not because I like the fact that Drewsif was plagiarized, but because I think this deserves attention.
Bunch of posers, so ridiculous. It was made by "two band dudes" lol wtf. I want to find these guys are beat the shit out of them
I read it and I lol'd
I can't imagine why anybody would even want to do that. As Benanne said, it's not like they would have been able to get away with it for long. There's no place for plagiarism in art.
Yeah, maybe they're just jealous and wanna create some fuzz.
This is really fucking low. I don't get why anyone would bother doing it, the chance of not being found out is practically nil. Bulb's been a victim of this kind of stupidity a few times before.
