We are exclusively premiering a new music video of Swedish progressive metallers Means End for their song 'Nox Aurumque'. Watch it below, or click through to YouTube for better quality. The track will be featured on the band's upcoming 12-track album, 'The Didact', which is due to be released on May 1st this year. It will be released both digitally and as a Digipack with a 24-page artwork and lyrics booklet. The first 0101 albums will be numbered and signed by the band. The album is available for pre-order at the band's official website.

The band comment: "All of us in Means End are huge fans of Eric Whitacre, the world’s greatest contemporary choir composer. With his guidance we re-imagined a darker song of his, 'Nox Aurumque', as a linear tempo metal song with lead vocals. It is now included as track 9 on our debut album 'The Didact'.
While composing the new song took a lot of time and dedication in order to stay true to the original, we know people like watching videos while listening to music, so on a Thursday night we went down to our garage, gigged a few times, and filmed it."

A compilation teaser video for 'The Didact' was released earlier.

Okay,
Luciani is awesome.

But the video somehow lacks in creativity. Such an epic song deserves a '][' [[]] [[]] ][_ style video!!!

I read that they spent less than $50 on making this video.

Killer! Luciani is quite the theatrical character during performance. Very interesting sound they have going. The only gripe I have is that the closing scream is very out of place and airy compared to the rest of the vocal recording. Nonetheless, great track.

dope rendition though. cant wait for their first full length

This was really really good! Robert Luciani at his best!

Perhaps not the best of videos, but the track is amazing! Laughing out loud Can't wait to get my hands on the album. I'm anticipating it'll end up on a lot of Best-of lists.

Fucking love it!

PS: The singer of this band is out of this planet.

This is huge! I can't wait for the full length
