The Ocean have unveiled a web page where several short audio clips from their upcoming album 'Heliocentric' can be heard. The clips do not contain vocals. Lyrics are available as well. Presuming that the names on the page correspond with track titles, the track listing is as follows:

1. Firmament
2. The First Commandment of the Luminaries
3. Ptolemy Was Wrong
4. Metaphysics of the Hangman
5. Catharsis of a Heretic
6. Swallowed by the Earth
7. Epiphany
8. The Origin of Species
9. The Origin of God

The album is due for release in March. 'Heliocentric' is the first of two concept albums; the second, titled 'Anthropocentric', is scheduled for October. The albums are being released separately because they are very different musically.

Robin Staps told Noisecreep that both discs "are a critique of monotheistic religion, especially Christianity, from different philosophical angles. 'Heliocentric' tells the story of the discovery that the Earth revolves around the sun and not vice versa, and the effects that this discovery has had on Christian beliefs, and 'Anthropocentric' deals with creationism, and modern day Christian fundamentalists who still believe the Earth is 5,000 years old, and the dinosaurs never existed and man is the epitome of God's creation."
