TesseracT announce plans for DVD
TesseracT, who have just returned from their US tour with The Devin Townsend Band, have announced that they will be recording a live studio DVD to go along with their heavily anticipated debut album 'One'. On their official website, they added: "It will be a stark example of what a band sounds like live and in one take. So see it as a take on a live performance, but in the studio environment. You don't really get the opportunity to hear music in its pure form these days, but with this DVD we hope to show you a band without the typical production tools and 'smoke and mirrors'. So no quantization and no over-dubbing, just plain and simple TesseracT, warts and all, as you would see us live at a gig. We also aim to give those of you with the capability the whole thing in 5.1 surround sound."
TesseracT will be touring in India in December, where they will play at the Great Indian Rock Festival 2010 with Meshuggah. In February 2011 they will start on the League of Extraordinary Djentlemen tour with Periphery and Monuments.
