An excerpt of the live studio DVD that TesseracT plan to release alongside their debut album 'One' has appeared online. Watch it below. The five minute video fragment features the band playing their song 'Concealing Fate part III: The Impossible' live in a studio environment.

About the live DVD, the band said: "It will be a stark example of what a band sounds like live and in one take. So see it as a take on a live performance, but in the studio environment. You don't really get the opportunity to hear music in its pure form these days, but with this DVD we hope to show you a band without the typical production tools and 'smoke and mirrors'."

Thankfully, I have seen them live already, because if I only had to judge from this video, they'd come across as an incredibly boring live band. On stage they are way more energetic though.

Also, it sucks that they almost only show closeups of the guys. That's absolutely retarded, especially when it comes to Jay. I wanna see him play, not the faces he's making...

This is probably the best live performance I've ever seen. A smile on my face while watching them play the old Deception riff.. epicness!
