Carthage is a metal band from the Baltimore, Maryland area. The band are composed of guitarist/vocalist Tre Watson, Guitarist Ian Starks, guitarist/vocalist Noyan Tokgozoglu, bassist Ian Wilmot, drummer Billy Berger, and lead vocalist Eric Hendricks.

Carthage Started in 2008 with founding members Billy Berger and Tre Watson. The band released their delf-titled EP in August 2011 and released their first full-length release "Salt the Earth" in December 2012.

The band are notable for using 9 string guitars in some songs.
