Takes a block of spicy metalcore with a dash of rock, stir in 3 cups of Southern spice, add a cup of hardcore (non traditional) breakdowns, dice up a fair portion of soothing pop vocals and sprinkle a little dance spice on top. Let it simmer on the stove for 17 minutes and serve it while it’s still hot. This is the recipe that has come to be Dancing With Paris.

Over the past 16 months, Dancing With Paris has been making their mark in the Canadian Metal/Hardcore scene and the people are talkin’! Either it’s about their energetic live shows, the down to earth mentality the band posses, or the dedication they have for their ever-growing fan base. DWP is a band that is always giving back to their fans. It could be with an exclusive free download to a rough demo, streaming their live shows or looking for feed back from the fans. Because in the end it all comes down to what they want.

Over the course of 2010, the band played over 70 shows across most of Canada. Within those shows, they headed out on 2 tours, played 2 of the larger festivals Ontario has to offer, played 2 showcases and have already directly supported We Came As Romans, Baptized In Blood, Dead And Divine, Vanna, A Plea For Purging, Farewell To Freeway, Abandon All Ships, and Structures. On top of all this, all of the members manage full time jobs as well as all the other band duties, making them one of the harder working bands in the scene today.

Their EP titled “There’s Something In The Water” has created a blend of different genres of music. From poppy choruses that will make you want to dance, to hard hitting bridges, verses and breakdowns that will make your face melt and question “what just happened”? Now that 2011 is upon us, the band has started demoing out songs for their first full length album, which is going to be dropped this spring.

Dancing With Paris has created a monster for everyone to enjoy. From now on, the future is nothing but one big dance party full of fun times and surprises.
