Outrun The Sunlight

In February of 2011, Austin Peters and Cody McCarty began experimenting with a DIY studio project, calling it “Outrun The Sunlight.” Being in a previous live band together, the writing chemistry between Austin and Cody was already realized, and working together was nothing new. However, neither members had any prior recording knowledge; the project became a learning experience for both members, pushing them not only as musicians, but recording artists as well. Writing music they wanted to hear was their philosophy, and incidentally the two began creating the progressive, melodic, instrumental, and ambient sound that can be heard in their music today.
