In the underground music scene in the Philippines, one band from Cavite has created a name for itself through its intense technical skill and musical innovation. Sin is a band based on uncompromising musical integrity, and this focused intention of being the best heavy metal band in the Philippines has earned them scores of dedicated fans.

Sin’s penchant for their musical technicality has proven to become a springboard for them to be recognized all over the Philippines . Upon joining the 2006 World Battle of the Bands, fans from numerous provinces were so amazed by their recorded songs and their live shows that the band placed as the 1st runner-up, and actually won the most overall votes from fans nationwide, beating out recognized names like Faspitch and Queso in terms of crowd response. These same fans remained in full force as the band toured around Luzon during the 2007 Tower of Doom Siege Tour , and cheer by the thousands whenever Sin performs the Pulp Summer Slam, as they have become regulars since 2004. Despite the aggressive nature of their music, Sin’s new music video “Amorphosis” enjoys airplay on MTV due to the crowd demand to see and hear one of their favorite metal artists on television.

At the moment, the band is busy working in the studio to craft and perfect their unique brand of heavy metal which their fans have come to expect. Their debut full-length album is slated to be released nationwide under Tower of Doom Records in the 4th quarter of 2007.

Thank you so much Jamie, We really appreciate listeners like you and hope you'll support the new album coming later this year or in 2013 summer.
I'll post a live video of Sin doing new songs in June. For now I'll just post our last Pulp Summer Slam appearance. God Bless. - Rommel
