"if incubus, tool and meshuggah had a threesome, they'd name their child syqem." - salvadore dali in 1952

formed in 2001, syqem were some of the very early meshuggah followers, developing their own style till today, more melodic,
more song orientated. for non musicians, they could become THE gate to technical/djent/heavy music.
syqem is about feel, not showing off technical abilites, still they satisfy all kinds of different genre-lovers.

after 4 eps over several years, 2012 is the year of syqem. a new album will be released summer 2012.
their leading single : - rewind - can now be heard on youtube

I've never thought technical can become so catchy :] Quite interesting how djenty riffs mix with popish-like lyrics and voc. Worth a shot, lads.

fetten respekt! dass sowas aus deutschland kommt macht mich fast schon ein bisschen nationalstolz Wink

Amazing Album! Best Thing i´ve heard since a very long Time! Respect!

One of the best new bands I've found. Ridiculously infectious sound. They definitely need more fans.
