Wide Eyes is a 3 piece Progressive Metal band out of Akron, OH. The band started out as a solo project for lead guitarist Danny Cullman in early 2009, and over the years has evolved into something much bigger. Fellow guitarist Chris Saniga had been playing alongside Danny for years but none of the projects they were involved in really went in the direction that they wanted to go as musicians. Things seemed to be going nowhere for either of them until Chris met current drummer/guitarist Chris Vogagis. After working on a few songs together, everything started falling into place. After that, the writing began. Between the 3 musicians they had over 50+ songs written and were able to narrow it down to a 26 song debut release titled Volume. Wide Eyes is currently working on a follow up sophomore album that will be out Summer 2013.

great new album!

You guys have become one of my favorite bands. Much respect for the Volume album. Stay instrumental, stay awesome!

haha indeed it is. sorry for the wait everyone! between juggling full time jobs and finishing college, we underestimated the amount of work needed to finish this album. however, we have some awesome news that we will be announcing in the next week or so! I promise all of it will be worth the wait Smile

sooo, winter is over, unless you were talking about australian winter (which is like now)? Tongue
