Textures have published the third in a series of video podcasts about the recording of their fourth studio album 'Dualism'. Watch it below. The previous studio update video was posted in May. 'Dualism' is due for release on September 23rd by Nuclear Blast records. The cover art, track listing and release date were revealed earlier this month.
Textures will be touring through North America supporting Periphery as part of the Frak The Gods tour, alongside The Human Abstract, The Contortionist and Stray From The Path. They will also be co-headlining this year's edition of Euroblast festival, which will take place in Cologne, Germany on October 21st-22nd.
Guitar World recently caught up with Meshuggah's Fredrik Thordendal for a Q&A session comprised of reader submitted questions. In the session Fredrik reveals some additional insights into the new album: "On this album, though, everyone is working together", as well as teasing details about his new hardware: "The tubes are from Russian MiG 25 fighter planes; they’re designed to survive a nuclear blast and keep the plane flying". Recently Mårten Hagström also shared some details regarding the new album.

Studio Rock has conducted an interview with Mårten Hagström of Meshuggah, in which he discusses their forthcoming full-length album. He indicates that it is scheduled to be released in March 2012, and that all band members are currently participating in the writing process (which was not the case for previous albums).
About the band's stylistic direction on the new record, he says: "This time, from what it feels right now, it's gonna be a little bit slower and a little bit groovier album. But that's just generally. I think that we will like this album better than the media."
A video update about the mixing of Uneven Structure's forthcoming debut album 'Februus', has been posted on Basick Records' YouTube channel. Watch it below. The video also includes some new music. The band recently announced on their Facebook page that the album is finished and that they are now working on the artwork. They will also be shooting a music video in Switzerland in a few days.
