Massive Audio Nerve: new lineup announced, working on new album

Massive Audio Nerve have announced that guitarist Mark Black and drummer Adde Larsson have joined the band. They will replace Nils Olsson and Andreas Engberg, respectively. A previous lineup change was announced earlier this year. The band will enter the studio to record their fourth album 'Cancer Vulgaris' in February 2012. Ten of the twelve song titles are listed here.

Formerly known as 'M.A.N,' Massive Audio Nerve announced the name change via their Twitter page in November.

Sybreed: new album update

Sybreed have announced on their Facebook page that they have finished composing their new album and will start its recording soon. They also write: "The mixing itself, supervised by Mr Rhys Fulber once again, should take place in April 2012 in L.A., and we will handle the artwork part to Seth Siro Anton." Moreover, they have announced that the upcoming album will be titled 'God is an Automaton'.

Outcast sign to Listenable Records, album release date announced

Outcast have announced on their Facebook page that they have signed to Listenable Records. They will be releasing their third album 'Awaken the Reason' in late February 2012 via the new label. Accompanying the announcement is a short album teaser video. Watch it below. A new song, titled 'Abysmal', was posted earlier.

Angel Vivaldi: vocal version of 'Universal Language' EP announced

Angel Vivaldi has announced on his blog that he is going to release a vocal version of his EP 'Universal Language'. It will feature the vocals of Chris Barretto (Ever Forthright, Friend For A Foe, Ex-Periphery), Karlo Horvat (Kryn) and Chris Clancy (Mutiny Within). He writes: [i]"[...]Let me be clear in saying that I am not going vocal.

Animals as Leaders to tour Europe in Spring

Animals As Leaders have posted a set of European tour dates to their Facebook page. Moreover, the Terrorizer website reports that the ticket sale for all shows will start on December 9, and "UK tour dates will be announced shortly along with upcoming festival plans for summer 2012". The band released their sophomore album 'Weightless' in November this year.

Goodthink signs with Rogue Records America

Rogue Records America have announced that they have signed Jonathan Chun of Goodthink for a 2 year exclusive deal. They also write that "the label will be taking Goodthinks next release scheduled for Feb 2012 and publishing / distributing the album worldwide in over 600 aggregates and services." A new track, titled 'An Introspection', was posted earlier.

Ceruleus: EP delay announced

Nabeel Tarin of Ceruleus has announced on the band's Facebook page that the release of their EP is delayed. He writes: [i]"While I was on tour with Volumes on our day off us and Chelsea Grin went to my house to write a new song for Chelsea & thanksgiving only to see that my house got broken into and about half my studio stolen.[...] Untill I can get some new equipment the EP wil be on hold for a bit longer because one of the laptops they stole had all my drum files in it...

The Algorithm, Visions, Entrosolet, No Consequence and Chronographs have been announced as the latest additions to the lineup of next years UK Tech Metal Fest. More bands are to be announced shortly.

Subversion: hiatus announced

Subversion have announced on their Facebook page that they have decided to go on hiatus for an indefinite term. They write: "We regret to announce that we are in a state of hiatus for the time being. However please keep supporting the band by checking out our songs and spreading the word. More details will be coming soon." Recently the band was announced to be performing at UK Tech Metal Fest.
