Metal Hammer magazine have announced that Meshuggah are to tour the UK in April 2012. It has also been suggested by gettothefront.com that Animals As Leaders will be the support act. Dates of the tour are as follows:

• 13/4/2012: Wolverhampton - Slade Rooms
• 14/4/2012: Nottingham - Rock City
• 15/4/2012: Glasgow - Garage
• 17/4/2012: Manchester - O2 Academy

• 19/4/2012: Brighton - Concorde 2
• 20/4/2012: London - Electric Ballroom

The band are currently recording their seventh full-length studio album, which is expected to be released in March 2012 via Nuclear Blast Records. An interview with Studio Rock concerning the album was posted earlier.

Textures and The Ocean have announced dates for a co-headlining European tour in late November through early December with Aliases as the opening act for the UK shows. View them below. Textures and Aliases will also be performing at this year's Euroblast Festival.

Animals As Leaders recently completed a tour with Circa Survive and have announced their touring plans for the coming months. They band are currently playing a few shows on their own, and will embark on a North American tour supporting Underoath and Thursday in January and February.
