Stealing Axion have posted a video on their YouTube channel, indicating that they have signed to Inside Out Music, a division of Century Media Records. Watch it below. The video also contains the artwork for their upcoming debut album 'Moments' (at around 1:05).

French experimental metal band Innerty are gearing up to release their debut album 'Tabula Rasa' on Bandcamp on January 19th. Two weeks ago, we streamed the whole album in full for two days. Today, we're doing the same for the instrumental version of the album. Check it out below.

Physical copies will be made available at a later date, in the form of a double album with the regular and the instrumental version included. The album was co-produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Eddy Dorigny of Fromtape Records. About the reason for releasing an instrumental version, the band had this to say:

"During the recording and mixing sessions, we got so many versions of mixes, premixes, premasters, with vocals here, there, not there, this way, this other way, that three digits weren't enough to name the files. There was this afternoon, a fucking cold one, like icecube-toes cold, where we sat down and one of us just went: "I want a goddamn instrumental version of this thing." And the light just... went on; and the toes weren't cold anymore and then the goosebumps and... well, you get it.

Another hairy one of us, with a mouthful of some kind of donkey salami that rendered his words so French they would've been typed in blue red and white, just went "why don't we just, you know, release an instrumental version as well!" We had that chemical feeling that people maybe probably felt when the big Guy's son hollered "I'm back, bitches" after his three days vacation. We were pretty much convinced by the idea. There were so many tiny little details, just a 16th ride here, a little harmonic here, a tiny legato there, that were sometimes eclipsed by the power of the vocals, that we were pretty confident this would please little geeks like us who are into this nutty level of nerdiness.

Plus it'd please our dads. They're always saying "why do people pay to be yelled at by a crazy guy in a band for 52 minutes!" Well, here you go pa, no more yelling.

The band are also releasing an instrumental version of the album (separately mixed and mastered!), which we will be streaming on January 10th, so be sure to check back then. Physical copies will be made available at a later date, in the form of a double album with the regular and the instrumental version included.

The album was co-produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Eddy Dorigny of Fromtape Records. About it, the band had this to say:

"The blood, the sweat, the tears and all that crap. We started recording Tabula Rasa literally two years ago. We went through so many changes in our lives and our minds, that the result is an excruciatingly painful delivery. More than happy, we're actually extremely relieved to finally get it out there. Truthfully, a whole lot can happen in two years. People change, influences vary, and you keep questionning things till the very last minute; once again literally.

This is our first album and as a not-so-fresh starting paradigm, we ask a very simple question of our very first album: what if the notion of starting with absolutely nothing was some kind of vicious circle? What if the whole idea of an innate tabula rasa was idiotic? This is not a "concept", we abhor the "concept" phenomenon. This is a just a remark, a realisation, a question we thought of as amusing. But we're twisted and some of us eat snails and frogs. Such is life.

This is Tabula Rasa, and if you appreciate it half as much as we suffered doing it, then we'll be very pleased and you'll be too."

Overdown have announced that their debut album 'Ethereal' will be available in digital stores on January 4th. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at The Metal Factory Studios in Madrid, Spain. Australia-based The Storm Picturesque have posted a studio update video with footage from the recording of their upcoming debut full-length album 'Arrival'. It also features some new music. The album is slated for release early next year. A track with the same title was posted over a year ago.

Forever Orion have released a debut full-length album titled 'Passion. Love. Harmony. ', which is available for purchase from iTunes. They have also uploaded a bonus track off the album, titled 'Fixation Of The Darkness' (Killswitch Engage cover) to their YouTube channel. Listen below. The band report that physical copies of the album will be available for order starting next week.
