Imperial draws heavy influence from the once popular nu metal sound of the 90's and early 2000's. This sound, characterized by combined elements of metal, hip hop, alternative, and hardcore, is amplified and blended with the heavy, progressive and groovy styles emerging out of today's metal hardcore music.
When it comes to being a D.I.Y band, Imperial raises the bar. Each member contributes their own talents and resources not only in the writing process, but Imperial records their own music, produces all of their own artwork, prints their own merchandise, and books their own tours.
