Keith Merrow

Keith Merrow has been working behind the scenes and it now seems that his third record 'Awaken The Stone King' will be released in January of 2011. There have been no official notices about this, but upon visiting his website you will find a picture of the cover art (below) with "New album January 2011" superimposed on it. What is certain is that Jeff Loomis (Nevermore) will be appearing as a guest guitarist on the album.

Keith Merrow released some previews on his Youtube channel of songs from the new album called 'Braving the Dunes', 'Spirit of the Ancient Siren' and 'Awaken the Stone King'.

Keith Merrow has uploaded a new video to his Youtube channel that features the studio version of the new track called "Awaken the Stone King". Earlier he released a play-through video of the same song, which can also be viewed below. This track will be featured in two parts on the new album.

Keith Merrow has recently set up a brand new website. According to the instrumentalist's own words, after using a free Google site for a long time, he felt like moving onto something a little more official.

On it, you can get informed over all of his latest music news, videos and updates. Some of his instrumental work is also available for free download.
