Friend For A Foe have announced Mike Lumer as the band's new drummer on their Facebook page. Moreover they have posted a bass mixing tutorial on Facebook.

Johnny Schnitzspan of ForTiorI has released a two part video run-through of the mixing, mastering and programming techniques he used while recording his recent self-released album 'Triton'. Watch the videos below. The album 'Triton' is also available for streaming via his Bandcamp page.

Chronographs have posted a mixed version of their song 'Resolve' to their SoundCloud page. They have also annouced on their Facebook page that their debut release will be produced by guitarist George Lever of Burials. The pre-production version of the song was featured on the British Tech-Metal free compilation.

Shadow Of Intent guitarist Hjalmar Almgren has posted a new mix test clip on his SoundClick page. He writes: "This is close to the mix we're gonna use on our EP that will be released sometime during 2011. I just tuned my JP6 guitar to drop C.. This is what came out.." A full instrumental track was posted in October.

Circles have announced on their Tumblr page that their upcoming EP 'The Compass' has been completely tracked and is currently under the mixing/mastering process. The EP will consist of 6 tracks and has been scheduled for release in early 2011. The band had also posted some recording footage earlier this year, which includes snippets of new material from the EP. Watch it below.

By Night report on their Myspace page that they have received the final mix for their upcoming full-length album. They hope to be able to upoad a teaser soon. No details about the album have been revealed yet. By Night's previous album, 'A New Shape of Desperation', was released by Lifeforce Records in 2006.

Ellyptik report that they are currently recording their self-produced debut EP. They have recorded all the instruments and are currently working on the vocals. The EP will be mixed and mastered in August. New audio, presumably in the form of a teaser, will be available soon.

Era Untold report that they are currently recording their debut full-length album. They have already finished recording the intro. The album will be mixed and mastered with Acle Kahney of TesseracT. Some older recordings are available on the band's Myspace page in the meantime. The band also write that their drummer has received an endorsment from Sonor (Meshuggah, Cynic).

Obsidian report that their as yet untitled sophomore album is almost ready to be released. The mix has been finished, and they are now working on the artwork. The album will be released on Candlelight records, with whom the band signed recently. A release date has not been set.

The album was recorded over a year ago, in late 2008 / early 2009 - some studio reports are available on the band's YouTube channel. Obsidian's debut album Emerging was released in 2006.
