A new version of TesseracT's latest single 'Eden' has been made available for streaming and free download on the Century Media Soundcloud page. Listen below. The new version dubbed 'Eden 2.0' features vocals by the new frontman, Elliot Coleman. A music video for the song was also released recently.

Fall Against Fate recruit new vocalist


Fall Against Fate have announced on their Facebook page that they have recruited Jim Dummer as their new vocalist. They had parted ways with Ross Armson in September this year. The band have recorded a new track with Jim, which will be released soon, and will record a music video as well. They also have plans to tour Europe and the UK next year.

Beyond the Dust: new teaser track, vocalist announced


Paris based Beyond The Dust have announced Alex Lopes as their new vocalist. The second of their old vocalists, Anthony Dubois, has also left the band, leaving them with only one vocalist. They have also provided a teaser of their upcoming single, titled 'Reality Deformed', which will be released this Fall. The band's debut EP 'New Dawn' is still available for free download from the bands website.

Elitist: studio update video, new vocalist announced


California-based Elitist have uploaded a studio update video of their upcoming EP 'Earth' to their Youtube channel. Watch it below. The update also includes the announcement of the band's new vocalist Alex DeHeart. Two playthrough videos were posted earlier.

TesseracT rumoured to have new vocalist (updated)


Following an intimate show in Milton Keynes, UK tonight, rumours are spreading about vocalist Dan Tompkins having left TesseracT. Several people who were present at the show claim that the band performed with an American vocalist, whom according to some is Elliot Coleman (Sky Eats Airplane, Of Man Not Of Machine). The news has not been confirmed through any official channels.

UPDATE: A live footage video of Elliot Coleman singing with Tesseract in Milton Keynes has surfaced on YouTube. Watch it below.

UPDATE 2: Dan Tompkins has supposedly left TesseracT because he has been offered to join a pop band. An official statement from the band should be out sometime in the coming week.

Hydrodjent changes name to Skyharbor, album demos available


Keshav Dhar of Hydrodjent has announced that the name of his solo project has been changed to Skyharbor. He also reports that he has recruited a full time vocalist. He is working on an album that is slated for release in June this year. Two instrumental demos for the album are available on the project's Myspace page, and a track with vocals will be on the compilation CD of the next issue of Metal Hammer UK.

He writes: "[...] my solo project Hydrodjent has changed its name to Skyharbor, and has found a full time vocalist (Sunneith Revankar from Bhayanak Maut/Amidst The Chaos), and a track of ours from the upcoming album (to be out in June) is going on the Metal Hammer compilation CD in April :)"

Ever Forthright: new track featuring Chris Barretto


Ever Forthright have posted a reworked version of their song 'Latency and Tendencies' on their Soundcloud, Myspace, Facebook and Bandcamp pages, featuring vocals and saxophone by their newest member Chris Barretto. You can hear it below. Former Periphery and Haunted Shores vocalist Chris Barretto, currently also in Friend For A Foe, was welcomed as the band's new vocalist yesterday.

CiLiCe: interview with

2 has published an interview with CiLiCe guitarist and songwriter Theo Holsheimer. In it, they discuss the history of the band, their 2009 album 'Deranged Headtrip' and their upcoming material, the Dutch metal scene, touring, and more. Theo also indicates that they have found a replacement for vocalist Daniël de Jongh, who left to join Textures in March this year. His name has not been revealed as yet.
