Metal Hammer magazine have announced that Meshuggah are to tour the UK in April 2012. It has also been suggested by gettothefront.com that Animals As Leaders will be the support act. Dates of the tour are as follows:

• 12/4/2012: Bristol - O2 Academy
• 13/4/2012: Wolverhampton - Slade Rooms
• 14/4/2012: Nottingham - Rock City
• 15/4/2012: Glasgow - Garage
• 17/4/2012: Manchester - O2 Academy
• 18/4/2012: Norwich - Waterfront
• 19/4/2012: Brighton - Concorde 2
• 20/4/2012: London - Electric Ballroom

The band are currently recording their seventh full-length studio album, which is expected to be released in March 2012 via Nuclear Blast Records. An interview with Studio Rock concerning the album was posted earlier.

The Algorithm, Visions, Entrosolet, No Consequence and Chronographs have been announced as the latest additions to the lineup of next years UK Tech Metal Fest. More bands are to be announced shortly.

Red Seas Fire, Subversion, Nexilva and Broken Torment have been confirmed as the first four acts to play at next years UK Tech Metal Fest. More bands are due to be announced in the coming weeks. The festival is being organised by English Djentlemens Quarters coordinator Simon Garrod, in conjunction with The League of Extraordinary Djentlemen. He writes: "The festival will be a mixed Tech-Metal fest of all varieties and not just Djent bands. Please stay tuned for more updates because we still have all of the Headliners to announce and many more bands yet to come very shortly!".

Fall Against Fate have announced on their Facebook page that they have recruited Jim Dummer as their new vocalist. They had parted ways with Ross Armson in September this year. The band have recorded a new track with Jim, which will be released soon, and will record a music video as well. They also have plans to tour Europe and the UK next year.

Textures and The Ocean have announced dates for a co-headlining European tour in late November through early December with Aliases as the opening act for the UK shows. View them below. Jay Berast of Aliases said, "We are extremely pleased to be sharing this tour with hugely talented bands such as Textures and The Ocean." Textures and Aliases will also be performing at this year's Euroblast Festival.
