Heart of a Coward part ways with vocalist


Heart of a Coward have parted ways with their vocalist Ben Marvin because of complications inside the band. They are now looking for a new vocalist, who will also be singing on their upcoming debut full-length album (which is as yet unnamed). The album's schedule remains the same. They write: "Unfortunately we have parted ways with our vocalist due to complications within the band. We would like to thank Ben for everything he did within Heart of a coward and wish him the best for the future. We're now hunting for a new vocalist to complete our line up, make their addition to our new album which has been recorded. Should you wish to audition, contact carl dot sewell at thelegacyagency dot co dot uk." A studio update video is expected to be posted later today.

Re:inanimate: new track 'Dust' with vocals


Sergio H. of Re:inanimate has uploaded a version of a previously instrumental song titled 'Dust' with vocals. It is available on his Myspace page and on hispasonicos.com. The vocalists are Scott C. from Denver, Colorado, USA, and Pablo Pastor from Plasencia, Spain. The instrumental version was released last month.

Tre Watson: 'His Name is Clover J Fields and He Hates Babies' playthrough video


Tre Watson has released a playthrough video of the song titled 'His Name is Clover J Fields and He Hates Babies', which is featured on his upcoming album 'Death of a Monarch'. It is available on his YouTube channel. The album is due to be released tomorrow. The song features guest vocals by Ray Clark from Shapeshifter! and a guest solo by Anthony DiGiacomo from Encircle.


Pedram Valiani: new song featuring vocals by Chad Kapper


Sectioned guitarist Pedram Valiani has released a new track with vocals provided by Chad Kapper from A Dark Orbit. The track is called 'Dissolver' and is available for free download from Bandcamp. Both artists are working closely on their separate debut releases. More of their work can be found via their facebook pages or on the Sectioned YouTube channel.

Carthage recruit new vocalist


Carthage, Tre Watson's band, have recruited a new vocalist by the name of Eric Hendricks, after amicably splitting with Chris Bonner. Bonner is continuing to work with his other band. Carthage are currently recording an EP, and are working on getting ready to play shows and possibly tour in 2011.

Ever Forthright: new track featuring Chris Barretto


Ever Forthright have posted a reworked version of their song 'Latency and Tendencies' on their Soundcloud, Myspace, Facebook and Bandcamp pages, featuring vocals and saxophone by their newest member Chris Barretto. You can hear it below. Former Periphery and Haunted Shores vocalist Chris Barretto, currently also in Friend For A Foe, was welcomed as the band's new vocalist yesterday.

CiliCe: 'Left / Right Hemisphere' with new vocalist


As promised, CiLiCe have posted a new version of 'Left / Right Hemisphere', featuring their new vocalist Bryan Ramage, on their Myspace page. The original version of the song appeared on the band's 2009 full-length album 'Deranged Headtrip'. An accompanying video is expected to be posted on Thursday.

Ocean Within: 'The Hedonist' teaser with new vocalist


Ocean Within have uploaded a teaser for a new song titled 'The Hedonist' to their Myspace page. The 30 second clip showcases the band's new vocalist, Thomas Braun. His predecessor Juho Tommila left the band a few months ago.

CiliCe recruit new vocalist


CiLiCe report on their Facebook and Myspace pages that they have a complete lineup again. Vocalist Daniël De Jongh left the band in March this year to join Textures. CiliCe have now recruited Bryan Ramage to replace him. They have also announced that a new version of their song 'Left / Right Hemisphere' featuring Bryan will be available on Myspace and Facebook next Tuesday. An accompanying video will follow on Thursday. A picture of the new lineup can be viewed below.
