Anti-spam headache

We'd been having a bit of a spam problem recently, so I decided to install a new antispam system that uses Typepad Antispam to identify spam posts.
Unfortunately, as it seems, this system is a bit overzealous and sometimes also identifies good posts as spam. If this happens to you, this has the effect that your post is not published straight away (i.e. it will not be visible), but it is instead put in a 'spam moderation queue' where it awaits approval from a moderator.
The module has only been installed a few days and it has already happened a few times, which is very unfortunate. That is why I'll be looking into some measures against this problem as soon as possible. I would like to make it so that all users with a certain number of posts (like, say, 5 or more) are no longer subject to 'spam inspection'. I think this is possible, but I'll have to research it. I'm a bit busy at the moment but I promise I will try to do this as soon as possible.
In the meantime, don't be too surprised if your post doesn't seem to 'come through' - the spam detection system acting up is probably the reason. Your best bet is just to wait until I come along and clean up the queue
Hope to have this fixed ASAP!

Seems to be working nicely.
And spammer here man: http://got-djent.com/content/computer-recording?page=1

Thanks. By the way, you shouldn't quote spam posts, because now when I delete the post I'll have to go and edit your post to delete the quote as well

hahaha

The helper module that automatically lifts antispam checks for users with more than 2 posts doesn't seem to work anymore. If you noticed your post wasn't coming through, this is probably the reason. I'm trying to identify the problem at the moment.

I have installed a module that allows regulars to post on the site without antispam checking. This will improve responsiveness and avoid (most) false positives (i.e. posts being marked as spam incorrectly).
That means new users might still run into this problem, but I'm afraid there's not much we can do about that... the antispam service just needs to 'learn' what's spam and what isn't, on this website.
