I want to start a hobby, one that involves me building mic pre's, microphones, interfaces, converters, and so on. But I need to hone my electronic skills. anyone know a thing or two and can recommend somewhere I can learn? book or web site?

This one is a little different, more for the recording side of things, that talk & reference electronics more than anything. Might find something useful tho'.

Before I forget...and in it's infancy... ONAN @Kimthebutcher what's up with letting Joeyshoelace have a go at a mix on the new release. Either remix something old or re-conceptulize something present?

Well, i'm going to be doing some work with vocalist Jack Tate over the coming weeks, we're in the process now of working out how to collaborate best..So if you'd be keen Joey, we could talk about doing a Joeyshoelace remix of an ONAN track? But only if you would wish to play around with that kind of thing - I know production is pretty time-consuming!

It looks as though this years' ONAN releases are all going to feature vocals - I don't want to sound pretentious but hopefully this will be something to really look forward to for everyone \m/ I'm really lucky to again be able to work with some amazing artists over this year!
