Hey guys! I had this idea for a djent ipad/iphone ap, but I know nothing about coding.

Here's the idea:

It's an ap that plays a typical djent beat, the halftime beat in 4/4 that Meshuggah loves so much.

It plays this with just the snare and cymbal going. There would be a way to adjust the tempo.

when you tap the screen, it plays both a guitar note and a bass drum kick. The bass drum kick fades immediately (like a real bass drum), but the guitar rings on as long as you hold it down.

there's a little button you can hold down if you want the note to sound muted.

there would be notes available to play spanning two octaves, and this would be on an 8 string sounding guitar. Maybe we could trhow in a way to adjust the tuning.

Anyway, you could basically make your own djent riffs with this thing!!!!

Only thing is, as I said, I know NOTHING about coding. BUT! If I can find someone to code, I can record the samples.

I can see myself djenting away in pure bliss in the middle of class with this. C's get degrees but not jobs, I cannot advocate for this Tongue This is nerd metal, I'm sure someone here has iSillydevice coding experience. Nice idea, haha!

I know, right!!!! Tell you the truth, I don't like djent a ton, but as a guitarist, I think this would be sweet! It would also be could for people who don'tplay guitar but just want to fool around with some cool djent stuff.

I'm not much of a coder but if you need a sound guy I'm available.

I don't have any experience with the Apple/iPad SDK's, but I know someone who does -- he'd probably be interested in helping, so if you could elaborate on the description a little bit and hash out the details of the sounds, then I'm sure I could translate it into something he could understand and build.

Just follow the rules / netiquette next time. No need to be sarcastic.
