This has happened a lot recently: just when I'm enjoying some tasty djent riffing, the whiny metalcore clean vocals come in. I personally can't stand these, they totally ruin the music for me (especially Periphery, who would probably be one of my favourite bands if it weren't for that godawful singer. Yes, I know they released an instrumental version of their album but it isn't available where I live). Can anyone reccomend me some awesome djent with no clean vocals? Thanks Smile

I was just thinking about this earlier today - if you want djenty metalcore without clean vox, you should check out Volumes.

Yeah, I'd agree of the Volumes suggestion. You'd probably like After The Burial too. Not really as djenty, but you could look into Elitist or Circle of Contempt.

Uneven Structure (*specifically their EP "8"*), Permillisecond, Entanglement, Rooks, Misery Signals , and Persaeus are several personal favorites, none of which really include singing in their music(or VERY rarely, like on one track ever or so Tongue)

Coprofago, Mistaken Element, Sin and Ignite The Ibex are also recommendable

Though I dislike the combination of the thread title and the actual inquiry. Clean vox are not necessarily whiny and there are many bands on this site who employ really decent singing.
