Where you there? How was it? Best show of the evening? Any other remarks? Smile

For me, the best performance was probably Chimp Spanner's. Dude's motherfucking tight. Uneven Structure were seriously impressive as well, and it was their first show, too. Of course all the other bands were pretty fucking epic as well Laughing out loud

I missed Aliases though Sad

Every bands were impressive.

Uneven structure spanked my little butt... Smile
Chimp spanner was just Awesome.

But for me the 3 best performances of the night were, Proghma-C, Monuments and Vildjharta.

They kicked asses yesterday.

hope seeing one day this kind of festival in my fucking country (France)

I hope that Euroblast vol. 6 has set a precedent. I don't know for sure, but it seemed to me that there was a pretty good turnout, proving that this kind of shows is economically viable, so to speak Smile
Of course, it can't be denied that the festival has attracted a lot of people from abroad as well because it was the first of its kind (me included), but also consider that there weren't really any big names on the bill.

I have to say it was epic. good place, nice people, decent sound, killer bands. E.P.I.C. worth every single km I had to travel from Slovakia.

the best acts for me were Proghma-C, Aliases (insane stuff...phew) and monumental combo Chimp/Monumets (both equally awesome).
I missed most of the END set cause it was killing me. insanely depressive stuff! I was able to listen to maybe 4 songs but then I had to leave. it was not the right mood for me at the moment
nice surprise for me was Syranic, a decent german band with good singing, good all-round skill and ideas. And I was stunned by Chimp set, cause honestly I didn't expect it to be sooo good.

a big disappointment was Vildhjarta. The sound was bad, ruined the set for me. You may say that's not their fault...but all the other bands, even the terrible opener bloodsomething had at least decent sound. i think that a fair part of the bad sound goes to Vildhjarta. Half of their set was a continous feedback. WTF?

anyway, the event was unique and if next edition of €blast is going to be anything close to no.6. I will definitely be there Wink

They had some really bad luck, but you shouldn't blame them. Hell, they leant out their sound technician to Uneven Structure to make sure they had the best possible sound, and then their own set is fucked up like that. Sucks for them. The feedback was really bad, but the laptop also crashed, so they were playing without a click track at some point.

...and I think that there was a Stone Sour show in Cologne that night...

to that Vildhjarta stuff: sorry dude if I was on stage I would never torture the audience with a feedback that long (stop-fix-continue). I know that it's not their fault. but tell me...how is that they were the only one having such massive problems? I know that things tend to fuck up in groups, and that is why every band tries to eliminate possible single points of failure w/replacement (guit, PC, etc). to be honest it seems to me that the more complicated the equipment of the band is, the more they lose direct contact with their own music. I am no analogue freak but having a simple&working setup is an advantage for a band. Proghma-C is the shining example of this healthy strategy.

It was a drum mike problem, nothing to do with the Pods and samples pidri. Putting aside the feedback problem which was not of their resort, and kind of real bad luck which could have happened to any of the bands there, they were tight, they grooved, and they move their asses as hell on stage.

i had a great time at euroblast got-djent edition!
probably the best gig ever just because off the shitload off bands that i love
never seen so many bands i a row that blew my mind.
and it started with uneven structure to do that.
short but powerfull they were and some changes were made to their set (clean vocals) but it was all good for me.
next was eryn non dae. i saw the croud dissipating but i thought it was genius.
proghma-c afterwards that was extraordinary. so tight and so atmospheric.
with ex-sikth member aliases where innovating for me and the one song i knew was perfectly done so i cant wait for their release.
vildjartha had some bad luck i think with probably to much instruments on a podium to small.
but they did the best they could under the circumstances.
the best thing of the evening for me was up then. chimp spanner, it blew my socks off!
and the last band monuments was a super headliner. i was completly satified.
a day to remember for the rest of my life!
