ideal passive affordable pickups.
Hello i'm new here and i badly need your help.
i'm plannin to upgrade my pickups to something that makes more djent tone at the same it's versatile to any types of genre.
i'm currently using a Telecaster with humbuckers.
which is better?
EMG-H4 or DiMarzio Crunch Lab?
if you have something more to add on, you are very much welcome.
post your insights too!

The EMG may be be (arguably) more versatile, but those CrunchLabs sound great. Pair it with a Liquifire in the neck!
does emg h4 produce more crunchy djently sound too? tsk i'm confused!

The EMG-H4 is pretty aggressive, so it'll definitely work and will probably sound great. IMO the CrunchLab is the superior pickup, though.
Crunch lab IS THE WAY TO GO especially for the tele!
sort of try to do some new stuff... djent on a tele! also plannin to go for bare knuckles aftermath tho but they're pretty expensive. maybe next time!

i find the h4 kinda muddy.
i also use a tele with humbuckers
i would recomend the seymour duncan distortion, it has enought mids to djentify almost any guitar, and hot enought to blow away stuff
and connecting it in parallel, produces a lovely clean sound
asdasd i love that pickup, i would use it on all my guitars, but here its too expensive.
140 dollars aprox D:
which model? the sh6? price is not that bad tho
btw, can you post some sample videos of your tele with the pickups djentisizing? haha

oh ill try to record something, at least audio asdasd
here is the tele
