Hey, can anyone please tell me how you use impulse responses? I downloaded "God's cab" that came recommended by a lot of people on these forums and is supposed to sound really good but I have no idea how to use it :/

What you ask is in the "in depth video tutorials", watch the 3rd video, but if you are new to this, better watch them all.
They have been posted these days, so i assume you didn't search the forum before you post this Tongue

I downloaded VSTi's and I see they are mp3s and not DLL files, I've copied them in the directory anyway and cubase doesn't recognize them, any tips?

VSTi's? are you sure you don't mean impulses? If it is an impulse you have to tell your impulse loader where the audio file is to load it up.

general tip with Impulses: you usually want wav files over mp3's since mp3's cut out a lot of frequency's.

I'm not sure what VSTi's you got but I downloaded the tiger and got a dll file. it would be quite odd for them to give a mp3, only reason I can think of to do that is to give an audio sample of what the synth can do.
