Interview with The Safety Fire - ask them some questions!

The Safety Fire, who are currently working on their debut album 'Grind the Ocean', after releasing their debut EP 'Sections' in March last year, have agreed to an interview with got-djent.com! As is slowly becoming a tradition here, we're counting on you to come up with some interesting questions. Ask The Safety Fire anything you want, about their music, their upcoming album, touring, their gear, and whatever else you can think of.
Go ahead and post any questions you can come up with by replying to this thread. If you don't have an account on got-djent.com yet, you can create one in a couple of minutes by clicking here. The best ones will be sent to the band, for them to answer.
Don't wait too long, the questions topic will be closed in a few weeks!

Any particular story behind the band name?
Also,
How do you go about writing songs, is it a group effort during a jam, or does one person write most of it kinda thing?
I've seen you guys twice now... you have an amazing live sound. How do you do it?!?
With so many prog/tech acts coming out of the UK at the moment what do you think sets you apart?
When will the album be released??

what gear did you guys use on your recordings?

Is the album going to have a particular concept? If so, what will that be?
I love the merch designs! Any particular idea behind them?

Which band would you say is the most prominent in the UK that plays the style of music you do and why?
Why do you think tech/prog is so dominant at the moment in metal considering there have been these types of bands around for much longer than the scene would suggest?

Good to see so many people chiming in! Keep your questions coming though, we aren't quite there yet
The thread will remain opened for at least four more days, until next Tuesday. Possibly a little longer, but if you have any questions left that you'd like to ask the band, don't wait too long!

Alright then, I'll start
- How does Grind The Ocean compare to the Sections EP? (mainly in terms of songwriting)
- Something I like to ask every band: what's you guys' take on "djent"? What do you think about it and what do you think about people classifying your band as djent?
