Hi. I'm a drummer currently living in Grantham in Lincolnshire. I'm looking to get another band going - my current band is about to split up due to our guitarist emigrating to Australia. The band I'm in at the minute is mainly a sort of metal-influenced-rock band, but I've played in metal and punk bands in the past. I'm keen to do something "djent-esque" - I'm into TesseracT, SikTh, Meshuggah, Periphery etc (hence posting this here) and am hoping to find a band to join or start a band with some other "like minded individuals". Give us a shout if you think you might be interested in doing somethin.

Cheers

Al

I just need a new band to do. I'm gonna teach myself programmed drums so I can spread the net nationwide on the basis that I might stand a bit more chance of finding someone to do a band with. Haven't met many (read that as "haven't met any") others who're into djent tho. Shitter.

Should be getting together for first time next weekend so I'll let you know. They tell me they're djent so I'm hopeful.

Awesome (: if that band doesn't end up happening I've got a djent band starting up in Spalding that's influenced by Tesseract, Meshuggah, Aliases etc. It's complete except for a drummer, so feel free to try out!

Spiralling Paradox - if you're still around these parts I've sent you a DM. Might be interested in doing something with you.
