I like to read this site now and then on my iPhone, but it's a little awkward to navigate at times. It would be awesome if there was a web app specifically for mobile devices. Advantages of a HTML5 app are that it isn't OS specific, so it can adapt to iOS, Android etc, and updates are easy to implement.

I unfortunately cannot offer to code such a thing, but I thought I could suggest it at least. Smile

This has come up a few times, and I think at some point some people were even looking into it. I cannot do this myself at the moment - it's on my todo list, but my development todo list for this website probably spans several years by now... And I'm mostly occupied by other stuff for now, haven't done any developing in quite a while.

That said, if anyone is up for it, maybe we can sort something out. I'd gladly outsource this Wink

I have no experience with android application development, so I'm not sure what kind of information you'd need. At any rate, the most important functions of such an app would be a news feed, I guess, and forum access.

I guess there must be a Drupal module that facilitates this process (the site would have to expose some kind of API, otherwise you'd have to scrape all the pages), so I'll look into that sometime.
