So I think its safe to say I'm known around here as a recording mixing nerd of sort's. Anyways over the years I have done a lot of ghost work and have recently graduated from an audio production course.

I have grown tired of not being able to talk about / take credit of my work. That and doing nothing but pop or hip-hop while it has made me a better Enginner does take its toll. I want to start earning credits working on styles of music that made me start mixing and recording in the first place.

Because of this I'm kinda cutting my rates as an Engineer, I say kinda cause I'm not ghosting anymore. This basically means I get to start over from the bottom and try to build up proving that I can mix to people.

I'll be charging 100$ CAD per song of Online Mixing and Mastering, I will be open to giving deals to the guys that want entire albums, EP's, and maybe even Demos. But these deals are something to be discussed in private. I will be having a minimum % down to book me but I have yet to set that rate and you also have to pay me in full before any songs I've mixed will be sent back to you without water marks of some kind.

I know its a stretch as this community thrives on the DIY approach, and no matter how cocky it may sound I consider my self to be a good Engineer. I'd love to share my skills within this community and provide bands or artists a service of quality mix's and masters.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have by replying to this thread. all I ask is any inquiry's about hiring me are done so via PM.

P.S. Prices are subject to change depending on how busy I get.

can´t say i like any of the songs themselves but the mixes - awesome. and with so different genres it just shows the major difference between pro´s like you and amateurs like me. i couldn´t even adapt to mixing a pop or hip hop song.

it comes with time, but my beginnings were trying to record metal/punk but ended up doing jazz one day, rock another, and eventually I some how was mixing hip-hop as a ghost. so may have helped out.

but with wanting credits now the hip-hop has dried up for me, its also an over saturated market. I get my jobs robbed by "DJ" bobby no ear's who torrented their 5 grand worth of stolen plugins. So I look else where and low behold Djent is a music I love and from what I think I've noticed is not supported by many Engineers. I'd love to make a name doing Djent mix's.

Joey, just been listening to your SC tracks...man, this stuff is blowing me away \m/
I only briefly heard the other tracks (vocal prod is beautiful, BTW), but WBE is definitely my new go-to morning track. Superb!

Oddly enough the band I did WBE picked to go with a different engineer. I think they disliked how I deleted a lot that cluttered the mix, I'm not really too sure what it was.

but regardless WBE isn't properly named cause the band didn't go with that mix. once I have something that I can credit properly I will delete that mix. for now it shows that I can do heavy stuff.
