Why is is taking so long for the updates to go through
is it because the band is not on the site yet? (i submitted the band page just in case)
Is it because they don't have many likes on facebook/not popular enough?

I thought this site was to help out unrecognized bands in the djent community

That's part of it, all bands that we post news about should also be in our database. That also means they have to go through the screening process, which can take a while (and a lot longer than just 3 days, in the worst case). got-djent.com is run by a team of hard-working volunteers who also have their day jobs or studies to worry about, so it's a bit unreasonable to expect us to respond quickly to every request, email or submission.

Absolutely not. The only criterium we use is: is it djent or not? This is why enough audio material of decent quality is required to be available for every band submission - we need to have something to go by.

Please do not jump to conclusions. This comes across as agressive. One of this website's key goals is to give upcoming bands in this scene a platform to reach potential fans, but we can only do so much in our free time. Keep in mind that none of us get paid to do this.
