just an idea, because i think it would be easier to find friends and fellow djentleman ect. instead of having to keep clicking for days to find the person you want to message Tongue

I agree that it's not very user friendly, I could see if it's easy to add a search box there.

it was quite easy to add an AJAX-enabled searchbox at the top, so there you go Smile It's not maximally flexible, but it should make the user list a bit more usable.

Sweet. With all of the fellow djentlemen I've met on here who live local to me (xBUDDHAx included), ease of contacting them seems more pertinent than ever before. Our population is growing...if only there were more women around yaya?

What's you guys' take on 'social' features? Some people have asked about implementing some kind of 'friend' system before, but I really don't want this site to turn into a Facebook clone.

When push comes to shove, I add people on facebook and keep track of them that way. I think we should have the ability to make bios but a "friends list" is taking it a little far. Talk about a privacy nightmare for you if you tried making a social feature. Optional public bio is the way to go, IMO.

Woh! Don't want to turn this in a Facebook thing? Yeah who could use a djillion dollars, certainly not got-djent.com hey...I'm not saying I'm into it, but, is that it? Nothing to expand on for the artist? Nothing connecting artists and maybe performing? I'm in America and djent has no physical foothold like a Euroblast or something? Please for the love of all that's holy...something else? If not, I could always go for a free copy of 'Masstaden', just a suggestion...

Edit: To get Meowzer some women maybe we should have a sort of social add-on. If there were too many I would certainly help out, show them around the site...or whatever...

There was a thread asking for info on where you are from and a few other people asking for a map situation. So there is a certain interest with getting more connected. More seriously, America COULD use a connective piece or a North America djentquarters.
