Some here know I live in NY. I live in the Hudson Valley area of New York. Literally down the street from the Dutchess Stadium. A 5,000 person filled minor-league base ball stadium, also used to host concerts & things in the summer. Can be checked online. I am in the unmentionable, preliminary stages to find out cost of renting this venue. Another venue I have been looking into is, the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. It hosts concerts & all sorts of other events. Not sure where this is going?

Some talk has recently got me motivated to try and put together a Djent Event. Pretty sure I will fall short of the cash goal. I am not in a position yet to acknowledge any sort of success to procuring a viable happening. If I can, I plan on looking to this community first. So I need to know if there are any Got-Djent.com soliciting donation policy issues, I need be aware of?

Haven't really thought about it to be honest. But we've posted about artists' kickstarter pages before, I suppose that's pretty much the same thing. Good luck filling up a 5000 person venue though... I don't know if djent is that much bigger in the US than it is in Europe, but keep in mind the turnout for Euroblast last year was 600 people, who came from all over the world no less. Ambition and enthusiasm are fine, but realism is also essential Wink

Only 600(?)...I don't know why I thought more. Hell then...I'm feeling a lot more capable about it.

Thanks for the quick response.
