So I think, apart from all this technicality, you'll also love music, good compositions I mean. And if these are new releases and you want your ego to scream them out, this is your thread to be.

+Bring Me The Horizon 'that's the spirit'

Psychic - Synesthesia
A true little gem of Jazz-infused groove focused and concise Progressive Metal. Absolutely worth the long wait. Just a bit short.

Neurotech - Remission
Wulf kind of merging "Evasive" and "Infra Versus Ultra". Very straight to the point, very electronic, with somehwat understated guitar work. Quite interesting.

Subliminal Fear - Escape From Leviathan
A band that plays so close to Sybreeds style that some of the songs could be straight off "Antares" or "God Is An Automaton". But they are good and it's not like there's a ton of bands playing exactly that style, so these guys are more than welcome, as far as I'm concerned.

Jute Gyte - Pendurance
Discovered this only recently and currently trying to dig into some of his recent discography. Music of the "Deathspell Omega didn't prepare me for this"-type. But the use of unconventional composition methods is thoroughly fascinating.

Astronoid - Air Do yourself a favor

Minarchist - In Absence Wow

A Great Adventure or Nothing - self titled Early AOTY contender for me

Oak Pantheon - In Pieces Agalloch lite

Also agree about Psychic, that voice always brings a grin to my face.

Astronoid - Air
Didn't really get what the fuss was about on first listen as I basically just heard Post Black Metal/Blackgaze with clean vocals. But on a closer listen it won me over pretty fast. Not only does the vocal approach lend the whole affair an overall different melodic tone but they also manage to craft truly memorable songs out of those elements, which is also kind of unique. Most bands would use those blastbeat-driven sweeping termolos mainly for amtmospheric means but these guys actually use them for some legit hooklines. A bit like a muscled-up Dredg. Not unlike that release by Vaura some time ago but very light and upbeat instead of dark and moody.

C.B. Murdoc - Here Be Dragons
Holy shit. This is one stunning amalgamation of Death Metal, Math Metal and Modern Progressive Metal. And really not blended, fragmentary or caleidoscopic. It really just sits in its own unique corner with a vengeance. I also have the feeling that this is a massive grower.

Thanks GeN2Mo for this!
I was craving for some good Cyber/Sybreed-inspired metal.
Escape from Leviathan is an awsome album, it's on repeat since a couple of weeks now Smile

I want to share my band's music video of our song Wolves On A Fence. Hopefully this can be added to your list of "New Releases You Are Jamming and Digging."
