After the acclaimed release of Lunik on cult german noise/industrial label Adnoiseam in 2001, reclusive composer James Huggett, gathered his forces and returning to the isolation of the studio again to begin a much more ambitious piece of work: a modern day doom laden progressive epic that would represent everything he had strived and sacrificed for. Ending a five-year hiatus of playing guitar, his new songs began to form around a core of thick, gritty bass guitar and martial programmed acoustic drums.
The term ‘Burnout Syndrome’ has its origin in Psychology which refers to the severe stress caused by work-related physical or mental trauma. Managing time for doing music altogether with studies quite often proves to be a heavy work-load. But they strongly believe that metal music is not only about strumming on the power chords or banging your heads but it is also a revolution, a form to stand against what’s going wrong in the society. And you can actually voice for/against an issue, how much trivial it may be, and let yourselves be heard.
Beyond Redemption are a progressive metal band from the heart of the northern New Jersey progressive/metal scene. All members residing in Bergen County, Beyond Redemption have played shows at many well known venues in New Jersey, including The Stone Pony and have played The Bamboozle Festival. The sound of Beyond Redemption is influenced by a combination of early progressive bands such as Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree, and more modern djent and math metal artists like Periphery, Veil of Maya, After the Burial, The Faceless, and more.
