Subversion have announced on their Facebook page that they have decided to go on hiatus for an indefinite term. They write: "We regret to announce that we are in a state of hiatus for the time being. However please keep supporting the band by checking out our songs and spreading the word. More details will be coming soon."Recently the band was announced to be performing at UK Tech Metal Fest.
Red Seas Fire, Subversion, Nexilva and Broken Torment have been confirmed as the first four acts to play at next years UK Tech Metal Fest. More bands are due to be announced in the coming weeks. The festival is being organised by English Djentlemens Quarters coordinator Simon Garrod, in conjunction with The League of Extraordinary Djentlemen. He writes: "The festival will be a mixed Tech-Metal fest of all varieties and not just Djent bands. Please stay tuned for more updates because we still have all of the Headliners to announce and many more bands yet to come very shortly!".
The organisers of Euroblast festival have published a medley featuring excerpts of several tracks from each of the artists that will be performing at the upcoming edition of the festival, totalling over half an hour. This year's lineup features Mnemic, Textures, TesseracT and Vildhjarta, among others.

The Euroblast team has announced the first names for the djent/progressive themed 7th edition of Euroblast Festival, which will take place in Cologne, Germany on October 21st-22nd. This year, the festival will last 2 days for the first time.
The following bands have been confirmed: Textures, Chimp Spanner, Cyclamen, Panzerballett, Devastating Enemy, Subversion, Disconcrete, Afekth and The Algorithm. The Textures show will also be the release show for their fourth album. Rémi Gallego of The Algorithm will play his first ever live set.
Another lineup announcement is to follow in a few weeks.
