Uneven Structure have announced that they will be touring the UK in July, around their performance at UK Tech Metal Fest. They will headline the 'Ramparts of Sageness' tour, with support from No Consequence, Broken Torment and Sentience of Eschaton. The tour announcement video, featuring an excerpt of new material, as well as the tour poster can be viewed below. The band will perform both their debut album 'Februus' and their self-released EP '8' in full. No Consequence will showcase some songs from their upcoming album, to be released later this year.

Basick Records have announced a one-off launch party event in Camden for Chimp Spanner's upcoming release 'All Roads Lead Here'. The intimate gig featuring Uneven Structure and The Algorithm, scheduled for the 6th February, 2012, will take place at The Camden Barfly, London and is a part of HMV's The Next Big Thing Festival.

Snippets of all tracks from Uneven Structure's forthcoming debut 'Februus' are now available for streaming on Amazon. The album is due for release on October 31st via Basick Records but there will be pre-sale copies available at this years Euroblast Festival.

In a few days, Uneven Structure and Chimp Spanner will be embarking on the 'Lowering The Tone' tour through the UK, supporting TesseracT. A Mainland European leg will follow in October. Uneven Structure have been confirmed for Brutal Assault festival, which will take place in Czech Republic on August 11-13th this year. The band will be sharing the stage with Exivious, Morbid Angel, Threat Signal, Scar Symmetry, Septicflesh, Suicidal Tendencies and many more.

Uneven Structure have posted a video update featuring the band's lead singer Matthieu Romarin recording some vocals on their Facebook page. The band recently announced their signing to Basick Records and will release their debut album, titled 'Februus' later this year.

Basick Records report that they have signed Uneven Structure. 'Februus', the band's debut full-length album which they have been working on for a while now, will be released before the end of this year.

Guitarist Igor 'Eggeh' Omodei comments: "We are so glad to be working with Basick, a label that completely understands and allows us the creative freedom we are looking for. We've endured a lot of hard work and effort in order to create 'Februus' and it's a great pleasure to know that we can count on Barley's team to push things forward and nail its release in perfect conditions. Uneven Structure have published a video update with footage of the band tracking rhythm guitars and ambient layers for their upcoming debut album 'Februus'. Watch it below. Last month, the band released a seven-minute extract from the album.

Uneven Structure guitarist Aurélien Pereira, AKA worC, has released his instrumental solo EP 'When The Day Forms'. The five track EP is intended as a 'prelude to Februus', Uneven Structure's upcoming debut full-length album. The artwork was done by his fellow band member Igor 'Eggeh' Omodei.

About the EP, worC writes: "Here it is, folks. When The Day Forms, finally out in the wild. Play it loud and enjoy the trip!" It is available for free download from keeol.fr.

It's been a little over two weeks since the djent-themed 6th edition of Euroblast festival took place in Cologne, Germany. Many of you were there, and so were we of course! Because it was such a unique event, we thought it would be interesting for everyone involved to share their experiences. We asked all the bands that played the same set of questions, and we did a short interview with the festival organisers as well. You can find both interviews below, so read on. Uneven Structure guitarists Auré Pereira, AKA worC, and Igor Omodei, AKA Eggeh, have posted a couple of new tracks on their respective SoundCloud pages, titled Nervous Breakdown I, II and III. The songs are somewhat different in style compared to their other solo material, and their work with Uneven Structure.

The addition of Monuments to the lineup of Euroblast festival, which was already unofficially announced this weekend, has been confirmed. TotalRock.com radio aired a 'Tech metal special' last Saturday, in which was suggested that Monuments might be playing Euroblast festival. A new track by the band titled 'Admit Defeat', which has been made available on their Myspace and Facebook pages in the meantime, also premiered during the show. A recording of the entire show is available for download.

Syranic, an upcoming progressive metal band from Aachen, Germany, has been added to the bill as a local support band. A preproduction version of their track 'Endless Open End' is available on their Myspace page.

The djent-themed 7th edition of Euroblast festival will take place in Cologne, Germany on October 23rd. A headliner has yet to be announced. Tickets will go on sale when the lineup has been completed. In no particular order, the lineup so far is as follows:

Uneven Structure have announced on their Myspace page that they are looking for a new vocalist to join their ranks.The band are currently recording their debut full-length album Februus, and have a few gigs planned, including an appearance at this year's edition of Euroblast festival.

The band's vocalist situation was unclear of late; vocals for their well-received debut EP 8 were handled by Vildhjarta vocalist Daniel "Mynd" Ädel. They urge anyone who is interested to contact them by email, on .

Euroblast Festival has announced the first bands for its 7th edition, which will take place in Cologne, Germany on October 23rd this year. As we wrote earlier, the theme of this edition will be 'djent', and got-djent.com is cooperating with the organisers of the festival.

Apart from Chimp Spanner, who was already announced to be playing with his newly formed live band earlier, TesseracT have also been confirmed. They had previously indicated that they hoped to be playing the festival. Two new names are Vildhjarta and Uneven Structure, who are both planning to release their debut albums this year. Roughly half of the lineup has now been announced.

In our previous announcement regarding the festival, we invited bands to contact the organisers if they wanted to play. These applications are currently being reviewed and a decision will probably made by the end of next week. Stay tuned!

Uneven Structure have posted an update about the reception of their debut EP '8', which they released and made available for free about three weeks ago (read about it here). The EP can be downloaded from http://www.unevenstructure.net/.

They write: "[...] the feedback has been amazing so far! A big thanks to you all for supporting us! The EP has been downloaded 7000+ times (8k, here we come!) and thanks to you guys, we've been reviewed by three websites already."

Whether this figure pertains only to downloads from the 'official' location or not, is unknown at the moment. If it does, the real number is bound to be much higher, because it had already been mirrored by popular music downloading sites merely hours after its release.

Uneven Structure have announced that they will soon be releasing a freely downloadable EP, containing a single 25-minute track. The EP is being released in anticipation of their first full-length, Februus, to be released in March or April 2010.

"As Februus is taking some extra time to be done, we managed to work you out a free EP that is coming out really really soon! 25mn of uncut grooviness for free!"
