Scarred By Beauty: album details revealed, teaser available

Scarred By Beauty have posted details about their upcoming debut album, titled 'Sutra' on their Facebook page, along with its release date and official track listing. They write: "Yo Peeps, good news! Scarred By Beauty signs with Danish label Mighty Music. Danish release: March 7th. 2011. European release May/June 2011. [...] 'Sutra' was recorded over 12 days at Hansen Studios (DK) in July/August 2010.".

The 'Sutra' album track listing is as follows:

02. Circle The Reservoir
03. We Swim
04. Oh Brother, I Believe
05. Embers
06. About Words
07. Top Of The Morning
08. A Million Metaphors
09. Woman
10. Mountain

The band have also published a 1-minute teaser for the album to their Youtube channel page. Watch it below. They released a free 3-track EP titled 'We Swim' in 2009. It can be downloaded for free from their official website.

Scarred By Beauty have published a new video with footage from their August 20th show in Loppen, Denmark, supporting Gojira. Watch it below. The sound quality is unfortunately lacking. The band are currently recording their debut full-length album.

The video features some bass tracking footage, as well as some live footage from their show with Gojira in Berlin, Germany on August 11th.

Vira part ways with guitarist

Vira report that one of their guitarists, Daniel Leszkowicz, is leaving the band. Daniel also writes and plays guitar for Scarred By Beauty, who are becoming more and more active of late. About this, the band say: "We've never questioned Daniel's passion for Vira but in the long run, his heart would be with Scarred By Beauty. We have always been aware of that fact, because he started SBB from scratch and is the main writer in the band." He will be replaced by Victor Salomonsen (ex-Mudslide).
