Fresh off the Tech Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself tour, Cyclamen have announced that they have split up. The update cites that the split is "[...] due to some of us having other commitments and interests which prevent them from committing to the band fully" and that it was a mutual decision. The project will continue as a solo project until new members can be found.
The Euroblast team has announced the first names for the djent/progressive themed 7th edition of Euroblast Festival, which will take place in Cologne, Germany on October 21st-22nd. This year, the festival will last 2 days for the first time.
The following bands have been confirmed: Textures, Chimp Spanner, Cyclamen, Panzerballett, Devastating Enemy, Subversion, Disconcrete, Afekth and The Algorithm. The Textures show will also be the release show for their fourth album. Rémi Gallego of The Algorithm will play his first ever live set.
Another lineup announcement is to follow in a few weeks.

Cyclamen's guitarist Olly Steele has published some video footage of a jam session with Monuments' drummer Mike Malyan on his Youtube page. Watch it below. He comments: "Recently had a jam with Mike from Monuments. Just for fun. Check out how much we suck at each others instruments....". Probably this is the sign of some kind of collaboration between the two bands, as can be speculated reading a recent Twitter message by Cyclamen.

Cyclamen has been confirmed for The Big Finger Festival 2010 to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of October in Northamptonshire, U.K.. Tickets are being sold at £40 for the whole weekend. Songwriter Hayato Imanishi writes: "Don't worry - It's not really Cyclamen's new direction. Once a Wolf report that they will be making their live debut next Tuesday (April 27th) at The Freebutt in Brighton, UK. They will be playing with Cyclamen, who are also playing their debut show, after their originally planned debut show with TesseracT on March 19th was canceled. Other bands on the bill are The Safety Fire and Lithurgy. Once a Wolf have also indicated that they will be selling t-shirts for the first time, and that they will come with a free EP. Haunted Shores have posted an update about their upcoming Split EP with Cyclamen. If all goes well, it will be released next month. The EP will feature two Haunted Shores tracks: 'When In Oslo', of which a rough mix is available on the band's Myspace page, and one other track which will be posted soon. No other details about it have been revealed thus far. The band are currently working on their next album, which will be the first to feature their recently recruited vocalist Chris Barretto.

Cyclamen have uploaded a new song titled 'Let Go' to their Myspace page. It was recorded with Wellerhill production (Dan Weller and Justin Hill, ex-SikTh) at Fortress studio. Dan Weller has also contributed a guitar lead. The song is to be featured on an upcoming split with Haunted Shores (featuring Misha Mansoor, AKA Bulb).
The band have promised to publish a studio diary soon. They are currently waiting for Haunted Shores to finish their recording before uploading the other song off the split. They have also indicated that they are now gig ready, which is what they wanted to accomplish before continuing to work on their debut full-length album 'Senjyu'. They are looking for gigs starting from the second half of March, and they would like to do a tour in August.

The band will take a break from recording for the holidays and will continue in January. They also report that Haunted Shores needed to delay the release date, so it has been pushed back to February 2010.

Noiseware have announced that they have recruited Clément Sigo, AKA "Nano", as their second guitarist. He is a friend of Olly Steele's, who already played guitar in the band. In addition, they have recruited Ed Newman to play bass live, until a permanent replacement is found, turning the band into a five piece.

Hayato Imanishi of Cyclamen has announced that the release of their full-length album "Senjyu" has been delayed because the band want to focus on getting themselves gig ready.
However, they have also indicated that they will be releasing a split with Haunted Shores (Mark Holcomb, Misha "Bulb" Mansoor) in January 2010. It will be produced by Dan Weller and Justin Hill (both formerly of SikTh).
Drummer Duncan Lee apparently can't make it to the studio and will be replaced by "Boris", whoever that is.
