Euroblast festival: the aftermath

It's been a little over two weeks since the djent-themed 6th edition of Euroblast festival took place in Cologne, Germany. Many of you were there, and so were we of course! Because it was such a unique event, we thought it would be interesting for everyone involved to share their experiences. We asked all the bands that played the same set of questions, and we did a short interview with the festival organisers as well. You can find both interviews below, so read on. We would also like to hear how the fans experienced it, so let us know in the comments!

The Euroblast team has announced a tentative time schedule for this year's djent-themed 6th edition of Euroblast festival, taking place in Cologne, Germany on October 23rd. View it below. As we announced earlier, NightShade unfortunately had to cancel and will be replaced by Proghma-C.

The flyer for this year's edition of Euroblast Festival, taking place in Cologne, Germany on October 23rd, has just been revealed. View it below. A press release can be found on the festival website.

Tickets are available from ticketmaster.de. Alternatively, they can be reserved through PayPal from the festival website, to save shipping costs. In that case, your name will be put on the guest list and you will need to show an ID to get in.

It has just been announced that Monuments will be headlining the sixth edition of Euroblast festival, which is set to take place in Cologne, Germany on October 23rd this year. Tickets are now available from ticketmaster.de. The language can be changed to English in the top right corner of the page. The full running order is as follows, from last to first:

Monuments, Syranic added to Euroblast lineup

The addition of Monuments to the lineup of Euroblast festival, which was already unofficially announced this weekend, has been confirmed. TotalRock.com radio aired a 'Tech metal special' last Saturday, in which was suggested that Monuments might be playing Euroblast festival. A new track by the band titled 'Admit Defeat', which has been made available on their Myspace and Facebook pages in the meantime, also premiered during the show. A recording of the entire show is available for download.

Syranic, an upcoming progressive metal band from Aachen, Germany, has been added to the bill as a local support band. A preproduction version of their track 'Endless Open End' is available on their Myspace page.

The djent-themed 7th edition of Euroblast festival will take place in Cologne, Germany on October 23rd. A headliner has yet to be announced. Tickets will go on sale when the lineup has been completed. In no particular order, the lineup so far is as follows:

Divine Temptation to play Euroblast Festival

Divine Temptation have been added to the lineup of the 7th edition of Euroblast Festival, which will take place in Cologne, Germany on October 23rd. A while back, we posted that bands interested in playing at the festival could submit an application by email. Divine Temptation were selected by lot from these submissions. The Euroblast team wishes to thank all bands that submitted an application, and hopes to see them in Cologne for 2011's edition.

This year's edition of Euroblast Festival will feature a djent lineup. Vildhjarta, TesseracT, Uneven Structure and Chimp Spanner were already confirmed earlier. The organisers are currently working on the headliners, and will be making another lineup announcement in a few weeks. Stay tuned!
