The Safety Fire released their debut full-length album 'Grind the Ocean' exclusively as part of the preorder this week. It will be released officially on April 9th/10th for the UK and US market respectively, via Inside Out Music.

Century Media have uploaded a new tour video on their Youtube Page featuring The Safety Fire, from the ongoing 'City Of Vultures' tour where The Safety Fire are supporting Rise To Remain along with Bleed From Within. Periphery, Monuments and The Safety Fire have announced on their respective Facebook pages that the League of Extraordinary Djentlemen tour, which will take place in the UK in early February next year, will be extended onto the European mainland. 8 additional dates have been announced and can be found below. The lineup differs slightly: TesseracT will be exclusively participating in the UK part of the tour, whereas The Safety Fire will be on the European part.

The Safety Fire have put up another studio update, this time showing bass and some new content. Watch it below. The previous studio update was posted last month. The Safety Fire's debut album Grind the Ocean should be out by the end of the year.

Once a Wolf report that they will be making their live debut next Tuesday (April 27th) at The Freebutt in Brighton, UK. They will be playing with Cyclamen, who are also playing their debut show, after their originally planned debut show with TesseracT on March 19th was canceled. Other bands on the bill are The Safety Fire and Lithurgy. Once a Wolf have also indicated that they will be selling t-shirts for the first time, and that they will come with a free EP. The Safety Fire have posted a drum preproduction video for their upcoming debut album Grind the Ocean to their YouTube channel. Watch it below. The band were featured on TotalRock.com radio's tech metal special last weekend (of which a recording is available here), where they announced the title of their album, which will hopefully be released by the end of this year. The band are almost finished recording the album, and are currently working on vocals and lead guitars.

This afternoon, TotalRock.com radio aired a 3 hour long 'Tech metal special', featuring lots of studio and telephone interviews with members from Textures, TesseracT, Once a Wolf, No Consequence, The Safety Fire, Monuments (Fellsilent), Aliases (SikTh), The Arusha Accord, No Made Sense and Chimp Spanner.

A new track by Monuments, 'Admit Defeat', also premiered on the show today. It will be available on the band's Myspace on Monday. It was also said that the band might be playing Euroblast festival in Cologne, Germany on October 23rd, but this has not been officially confirmed yet.

An unedited recording of the show is available for download from Sendspace (164MB). Individual podcasts of the interviews will be made available on TotalRock.com next week.

They write: "For the last few months we have been locked away in our studio space in South East London, literally at times eating and sleeping there! How exactly this is reflected in the album I guess you will have to wait and see! A lot of new tracks have now been tracked and its definitely time to start the recording process!"
