A very, very good sounding ep, digging it 10 outa 10
Actually I'm enjoying this band, good job guys! There seems to be a discussion about the vocals, to be honest - the screaming reminds me somehow of Architects which is a good thing for me, I love this type of screaming. I'll be watching you
I think every band even big ones had something a like, clean vocal - screams everyone do the same of course the are better singers than others. In my opinion this is a good work, (the singer is really good please do not missunderstand me) and for me screams are essential to keep the heaviness in this kind of music... throat is a signature that it could not be leave in a heavy metal band...
This is a neat band with talented instrumentals and use of electronics however the vocals feel like they're any other teenage boy band found in metalcore. The market is oversaturated with screamy vocals and fans would like something more. For example Tesseract attempts to balance it out. Although Periphery is successful, other bands shouldn't try to fall into the shadow of it otherwise they'll be grouped with a bunch of clones. I do think this band has much potential but again the vocals are lagging. Another djent band that's smaller getting hype in the US is Being which has clear vocals- it isn't about having one or the other but some style instead of like everything else on the market ^^
