I dunno, I like the melodies the cleans deliver but their glass-bursting height sound a bit too strained at times. I miss his lower voice, which has a phenomenal atmosphere to it. Back when he was with Etna, he used it dominantly.
Apart from that, this is a really good album. Catchy riffs and melodies, easily digestible songwriting, a tad of funk and more variety than you may expect from an album with such a limited formula.
Fans of Sybreed and Breach The Void should definitely check this out.
I dig the cleans, they remind me of Fair To Midland a lot.
This is a very heavy record and the harsh vocal are simple amazing but leave the clean vocals out and some dirty grind to the bass to make it more noticable but overall a good album three and half out of five.
