Born of Osiris - The Discovery

I've been waiting for this album for a long time and finally it lives up to all my expectations. From beginning to end it captures all that this band have tried to achieve since forming. Ripping your head off from the opening riff they've manged to add their names to the ever growing list of great djent bands.

The songwriting is fantastic, filled with ear crushing polyrhythms, solos, beautiful melodies, blast beats and also brings back some of their old school sound. Every song has a different feel to it. Production also sounds great, giving the listener the chance to hear every chunk loud and clear. The drums sound nice and tight, props to the technical side. The keyboards been added a lot more than on previous albums, adding to the intricate breaks in songs and a large part to the melody.
